About Marina
Hi, I am Marina! Welcome to my page. I’m a 46-year-old mother of two from Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, passionate about helping people connect with their true selves through mindfulness. As a teacher and Co-Active coach, I believe in the power of living in the present moment.
Seven years ago, during a particularly difficult time in my life, I turned to a silent retreat and discovered Buddhism. This practice transformed my life, helping me heal through mindfulness and self-discovery. It inspired me to share this journey with others, and now, my mission is to help as many people as possible truly get to know themselves.
To do this, I’m training to become a mindfulness trainer at the Inner Mind Institute, whose values align perfectly with mine. I am now ready to guide my first course, which will be taught in Dutch and offered on a donation basis, following the tradition of Buddhist monks.

Mindfulness in Everyday Life
7-week course: starting 12 February 2025

Learn how to implement your mindfulness breathing techniques into your everyday activities. By incorporating mindfulness into our daily lives, we create the potential for profound personal growth, improved emotional regulation, and enhanced compassion towards ourselves and others.
Donation-based
Our Teacher Training students offer their courses on a donation basis, allowing you to make your donation of any amount at any time. Your donation supports the student guiding you and helps keep our courses accessible to everyone.
Once you have completed the course, or if you decide to stop early, you will receive an email from your trainer with a request for your donation.

Dates of your sessions
The seven sessions during this course will take place on Wednesdays from 19:30 hrs (Dutch time) and the final session on a Sunday morning.

Registration costs
While our courses are donation-based, we do ask for a small registration fee to help cover essential costs. This fee provides you with three months of access to our online support module with essential course materials.
