This practical course is designed as an introduction to mindfulness and will offer you mindfulness techniques that you can readily apply on a day-to-day basis. The techniques will help you become more present, find inner peace, and become more resilient to stress. The course is suitable for both beginners and more advanced mindfulness practitioners.
The course will consist of 6 regular sessions of 1,5 hours held during weekdays, taking place at the REC, and a 5 hour mini-retreat on a Sunday taking place in a yoga school outside Amsterdam.
During the sessions, background and theory of mindfulness will be discussed, but the focus will be on practicing meditation skills through guided meditation session. During the guided meditation sessions, you will learn mindfulness techniques that you can practice for yourself afterwards.
Course materials and practice schedules will be available for participants through the website of the Inner Mind Institute.
To give you a preview of this course, I am hosting an online introductory session on April 23 at 19:30h. In this session, I will teach you the first three mindfulness techniques, and you’ll get a glimpse of what to expect during the course.
