As the first of a series of three 7-week courses, The Four Foundations of Mindfulness provides you with the latest insights into mindfulness and teaches you several powerful mindfulness techniques.
As part of this first stepping stone into mindfulness and the Mind Retreat Program (MRP), you will explore the Four Foundations—the body, sensations, moods, and wisdom—and how to integrate them into your mindfulness practice, so that you can free yourself from everyday challenges and deeper rooted physical pains and mental problems, such as stress, a busy mind, and anxiety.
The Four Foundations of Mindfulness is the initial step in Pre-MRP’s three-part program, designed to help you become more present, get rid of bad habits, addictions & problems, and discover your path towards the real essence of mindfulness, or enlightenment.

Pre-MRP1 – The Four Foundations of Mindfulness is the first of a series of three 7-week introductory mindfulness courses. The pre-MRP courses prepare you to take your mindfulness next level with the Mind Retreat Program (MRP).
You can sign up for this course by filling in the registration form above. Because this course is offered on a donation basis, you can already make your donation through the registration form. However, it is also possible to make a donation during or after completing the course.
Pre-MRP1 – The Four Foundations of Mindfulness is available on a donation basis. Making a donation is not mandatory to start the course, but by making a donation of any amount, you help the Inner Mind Institute in its mission to spread mindfulness and the Mind Retreat Program globally and help as many people as we possibly can.
If this course is given on a day or time that doesn’t fit your schedule, you can also take this course on-demand. All of the Inner Mind Institute’s pre-MRP courses are available for only EUR 10 per month within our IMI Plus subscription.
It’s the Inner Mind Institute’s goal to spread our knowledge about mindfulness to as many people as possible. That’s why we choose to give this introductory course on a donation basis. You can make a donation of any amount before, during, or upon completing this course.
Pre-MRP1 – The Four Foundations of Mindfulness exists out of 7 weekly sessions. The first six sessions take around 90 minutes. We conclude each of the pre-MRP courses with a 5-hour Mind Retreat so you can advance your mindfulness practice even further and take 100% out of this course!

Sessions during Pre-MRP1 – The Four Foundations of Mindfulness take place on Zoom. Upon your registration, you will receive an email with a link to join the live sessions on Zoom. With Zoom, you can easily watch the session in your preferred browser on desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
Our introductory course is an excellent course if you are new to mindfulness. However, we believe that everyone from a beginner to an advanced practitioner can benefit their mindfulness practice from these techniques and come to deeper insights, especially since the powerful Mind Retreat Program (MRP) is still fairly unknown in the West.
Yes, you can take this 7-week introductory course on our online platform for mindfulness at any moment that suits you. Although you have the liberty to practice at your own pace, we advise you to not follow more than one session per week, so that you have enough time to practice and master all of your new techniques.
Of course, you can always take more time for a session if you feel you need to.
